Clinical Fellowship (PGY-V Residency) in Geriatric Psychiatry

2 positions currently open for one year ACGME Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship (2008-2009)

Fellows receive clinical and research training in geriatric psychiatry, and broad-based clinical experience in outpatient, consultation, community, palliative care and nursing home settings, in an extraordinarily rich academic environment. Mentorship and supervision provided by geriatric psychiatrists, neurologists, and geriatricians. Fellows with an interest in research, have the opportunity to participate in research in Mount Sinai’s world renowned Alzheimer's disease Research Center in areas such as clinical trials, molecular biology, epidemiology, genetics, fMRI, PET, stereology etc. We are a growing division, and successful fellows are strongly considered for future faculty positions.

Candidates must have completed a 4-year psychiatry residency and be eligible for licensing (preferred) or limited permit in NY state.
